The “Presentation by Marc” header presents the case for adding support for morphed armatures directly to Blender with some links to the Diffeomorphic blog for context. Doesn’t sound like they’ll tackle it soon but if you’re a stakeholder with a Blender account it’ll be something to keep an eye on and chime in about.
