There’s a crash when the scene includes a shell. Test scene shell.duf it’s g8f with a shell.

repo owner Separate eevee paths are now always used for shells, preventing the crash.

Commit 0a89e01 works fine.

update. This only happens with the new eevee path options. That is, “always“ works fine, while “needed“ and “never” crash. We may set the default to “always“ so to get the full shaders as before for users that are not interested in removing the dual output.
