Rigify Metafig Root Bone is "Face"

Hi, I am wanting to do a quick animation retarget to a Genesis 8.1 Male character and noticed that when I create a Rigify rig from within Diffeomorphic (and retain the metarig - I need this for retargeting), the Root bone says it is the “Face” bone.

Is this just a naming issue or is this actually a face bone in the wrong location?

NOTE: This can be replicated but doing a normal Genesis 8.1 male character import, merging rigs (under corrections) and then converting to Rigify changing the option to not delete metarig.

    There are actually three bones at the same location, called Face, Face (detail), and Custom. They were added in order to add rig layers with the same names, but I don’t remember the details.
