Getting the latest version when i only own the old one.

I own the 6.31 version of this plugin that a friend bought me, but i have no longer contact with him since he was a dev. I was wondering if there was a way i could get the later version of this plugin without rebuying it. I can provide i have evidence with a dropbox link ect.
