Epic Nether Generator (ENG) doesn't spawn ores unless there is stone!

While trying to add glowstone ore pockets to my nether biomes, I noticed that none were spawning, but there WAS glowstone around the naturally generating surface lava pools which used to be surrounded with stone. Unless I'm doing something incorrectly, I believe this is just an issue with the ore spawning code. Please help! Thanks!
