HOW TO FIX ISSUES WITH EWG NOT STARTING (and other issues)

Hey everyone, I had an issue with EWG but I figured it out, thought I'd put the fix up on here since so many of you are having trouble with it as well.
The issue is not with the EWG plugin itself, but with the way it interacts with Java9. It causes an illegal reflective access error, which is a known bug within Java9.
To fix this issue, all you have to do is revert to Java 8, which can be found here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
Once you have that installed, go to your control panel and uninstall Java 9, but leave Java 8. you should be able to run the plugin then pretty much straight away.
This might not fix everyones issues, but I hope I can help some of you!
