LogId Trailer should allow for leading/trailing spaces

Bruce Ritchie created an issue

Our log format is something like

ORCA12345: blah blah blah

However it seems the Trailer option for the log id doesn't allow for trailing spaces which results in logIds like

ORCA12345:blah blah blah

It would be nice if this functionality was allowed.
