Storyline Glitch

Hi Echo,

I recently purchased your game "Gaia's Melody: Echoed Melodies" and so far I am having a great time playing through.

However, when I came upon talking to the Nameless Girl in Foresta in Chapter 8, I forgot to talk to her before entering the cave to reach the top of the mountain.

Apparently I have triggered a cut-scene which was supposed to be played after meeting the Nameless Girl, yet it was triggered before meeting the Nameless Girl.

After realizing this, I traveled back to the main village and found the Nameless Girl. After talking with her, I decided to go back to the top of the mountain and see if the cut-scene were to be triggered again.

Evidently it has not replayed and then I decided to go back to the airship to see if the next cut-scene would trigger. The only problem was that I was unable to activate the Flight Ocarina even though I was outside the cave. I have tried this in different places (outside of Foresta, the top of the mountain, the caves) but it fails to activate every time. I've also tried using the Teleport Stone but it also has failed (not sure if this part was intentional or not).

So I am considering this as a major bug in the game because I cannot progress through the story if the Flight Ocarina is not allowing me to.

I am not sure if the storyline cut-scene mix up is the one that caused this bug or if it's something else. But I leave it to you for consideration. Let me know if you need more information about this.

We've fixed the bug that was causing that (getting access to the cave before meeting nameless girl for the first time).

As for your current predicament, the next sequence of events should have you go through the mountain, inside the shrine, see a cutscene inside there, and the ocarina should be enabled again.

If this is not the case, let me know and I'll send you an enable fix.

Unfortunately this is not the case. I tried what you told me but after attempting to use the Flight Ocarina in the same locations where one could use it, it still will not budge.

So you went to the shrine and viewed that cutscene, but the Ocarina still won't activate?

Well I went to the shrine before meeting the nameless girl and apparently the character just happened to be inside the building when I entered. That's when my problem kicked in. After finishing the cutscene, the Ocarina wouldn't function outside the building.

Put this in the data folder of the game and revisit the shrine, it should re-enable the Ocarina.
