Cannot progress past final boss

I’m at the very end of the game, but when I fight Agares for the second time (after Nameless “dies”), he insta-kills me, or rather, there’s never an option to fight him back. I’m stuck here ): I’m not sure if anyone still reads these, but I wanted to keep mostly anonymous in case there’s something dumb i’m over-looking !

If you upload your save file, we will take a look when we can. I know the game is beatable, but maybe there’s a weird edge case. It’s been awhile since we’ve worked on it.

I’ve added the last 2 save files in the folder. I’d like to say that this area i’m in is on the rooftop of the “human” world--I’ve watched Echos yt videos/playthrough, and where Akira says “I’ll kill you myself!” , this dialogue doesn’t happen ingame. Instead, it’s an unbeatable standoff whilst Agares pummels me without giving me the ability to do anything.

We’ve confirmed the bug exists in your save, but it might be awhile before we have a chance to fix it/figure out what’s causing it (Echo just expelled a human from her insides a week ago).

Put this in your game's data folder. This will fix this instance of the bug.

Battle cutscene variable not reset in some previous battle that needs to be tracked down.
