Feature request: After finding out what a trade has, let me access the fabber screen and then say "yes"

All too often, I'll get a trade offer that would put me over my item max. If I could go to the fabber screen to upgrade my max, that would be a great trade. Lacking this, the trade is useless right now, and gone a minute later.

So why are these traders staying around for days, but going away instantly if I say no the first time, and why can't I radio back to tell someone to hit that upgrade button? Am I really alone running around hitting all these buttons and cranks myself?
