Allow research lock to disengage at a given value

As of right now, getting upgrades to a specific value can be a pain, especially when in the hundreds, because catching it at that exact value can be difficult. It would be helpful if an additional "System" research level were added, which adds the ability to set a specific value for the computer to reach. It could be 0 by default, (infinite), and if programmed to boot a 'complete' research out of the box, would also work quite nicely with research in the queue.

Having 0 be infinite makes sense to programmers and tech-savvy people, but would probably need a tooltip somewhere for most players if implemented.

    Another idea is to have a system where instead of locking the item being researched, you lock the entire queue. So there is a rotation.

    When I was in my “research fighting prowess” mode, I was trying to cycle between helm, phaser, plasma, shield, and a. cannon.

    What do you think about having it cycle on its own?
