Solar Power calculations lie when solar panels are overstocked (b37b)

Currently have 1,843/222 solar panels. The POWR screen shows 1,843 solar panels, 6 power per panel, (currently) 62% sector solar, totalling 6,855.96 power/second. However, I'm only actually getting power from the first 222 solar panels, the overstocked ones provide no additional energy, the POWR screen should reflect this.
