Helm Repair Costs not corresponding to text

The next on the cost to repair the helm for the first time states that it requires 1000 scrap and 1 quantum computer. I repaired the helm while having exactly 1000 scrap and 1 quantum computer, and it only reduced my scrap to 950, rather than 0 as it said it would. The quantum computer was removed as to be expected.
