Cannot Update

Check for updates: There was an error checking for updates...

every time i try to check for updates it makes it up to 12% and then gives this error message. eternity keeper is kept in a folder and a couple of subfolders on the desktop. seriously annoying.

OS: Win7 gaming PC plenty of memory/hd space/etc.

Auto-updates will no longer work as I have taken down the server that provides them.
