Scaling with maximum limit

Hail of thorns scales by spell slot beyond 1st by 1d10/lvl but has a limit 6d10 so would top out at 6th. A ranger can't get past 5th, but a multiclass could.

Could the Scaling element define a maximum number of times it will be applied.

You can try using scaling thresholds for this. It’s a bit arduous, but it should work for this case.

Do this all the way up to 6d10, and then if it’s upcast with anything higher than that, it should still use the 6d10.

Maybe just a max scale amount on the scaling component as you suggested will make this a bit easier, I’ll see if I can add it sometime.
