Obsidian character sheets will not update after updating from Foundry 7.x to 8.x

I've installed the 8.x branch of obsidian, and attempting to open a character sheet simply fails to load. Default foundry character sheets open successfully when the Obsidian module is turned off.

Please do not attempt to use non-released versions or branches of obsidian. You risk data loss. When obsidian is ready for 0.8 it will be released as such.
