Brightness controller closes instantly

"Dear gensplejs

I downloaded your app in order to use it with my 24" LED on Win home premium 64 and my 670gtx.

However when I install the brightness controller i see an icon shortly at my sys tray, that then disappears.

I can't make the GUI appear at all...

do i need something else to install?

    Unable to reproduce... Adding error reporting in 1.1 to allow further investigation....

    So i think i found the issue with Brightness Controller silently closing on some machines... Turns out x64 machines swallow exceptions in some rare cases and just kill the application without warning. I still have no idea what the root cause of the problem is but the error should be displayed properly when the next version is released.
