Winrar 5.0

It seems that pyReScene also has some issues with Winrar 5. I doesn't pick up a whole bunch of new releases. Batman.Arkham.Origins-RELOADED Goodbye.Deponia-RELOADED WRC.4.FIA.World.Rally.Championship-RELOADED Huntsman.The.Orphanage.Proper-RELOADED Battlefield.4-RELOADED

So, you can't reconstruct these releases and you think they are created with WinRAR 5?

They must be, all the earlier Reloaded releases prior to that reconstructed with WR5, so they must be on WR5. Doesn't seem to be all of them though as I was able to reconstruct Football.Manager.2014-RELOADED and Journey.of.a.Roach-RELOADED with WR5. Incidentally, my previous issue regarding the BIN/CUE, seems to be older versions as I'm able to reconstruct newer BIN/CUE releases from this year e.g. Two.Brothers-TiNYiSO, Urban.Trial.Freestyle-TiNYiSO, Total.Extreme.Wrestling.2013-CPY. Although not a lot, they reconstructed non the less

I see that RAR 5.01 beta 1 is out. You have tried this version too?

Yes I have, the same. I was using the 64 bit version of 5.0 and thought it could be that so I downloaded the 32 bit one as well and still the same.

Ah, I found out why Rar 5 probably doesn't work. The signature of the file format in 5.0 is 8 bytes instead of 7 bytes.

Doesn't explain Football.Manager.2014-RELOADED being reconstructed though :(.

There is no support for the RAR5 file format yet. By default WinRAR 5 creates RAR4 archives. The fact that an SRR file is created means that the old file format is used.
