pyReScene stops on Windows due to long paths

Issue #49 closed
Gfy repo owner created an issue
  • some of the SRRs i try and create, they can't find the corresponding sfv in the folder with error "Input File not found: path.to.sfv"
  • sfv is there and checks out on an sfv checker
  • it was like 3 out of the 100 releases

  • on 0.5, it works if i move the releases to the C:\temp

  • on the repo, doesn't work
  • and just stoped in the middle of going through the releases
  • looks like it printed the help for srs
  • the next release was one that would have broken it
  • no errors, no special characters
  • just seems like it tried to create the srs but with no options, so it printed the help and then stopped scanning
  • "Usage: pyrescene.py <sample file> [<full file>] [options]"

  • Me: on what kind of release was it? music?

  • 0day xxx, I had the same problem with some 720p and 1080p movies
  • no zips, just the .r01 nfo sfv and sample

Long path issue on Windows not completely fixed in all cases. Whatever happens, pyReScene must keep going onto the next folder at all times. (and log/print some errors)
