How to determine Core Volume

Hi everybody, I was looking through the PCA tutorial and I am confused on how to determine the core volume for the command below:

core.inds <- print(core, vol = 65)

Is it better to keep the core volume lower, rather than keeping it high? I am thinking the smaller core volume, the more accurate the structural superposition? Please let me know if you have any insights, thank you in advanced!

Can you tell which tutorial you are talking about? I checked PCA tutorial and there is no place using “vol=65”.
