"Battle Droid Player" Incompatibility
Trying to set either the "Battle Droid Player" or "No-Jet Battle Droid" playertypes for a team results in the player spawning as a droid with all nodes unhidden and all in a single colour. Changing team uniforms doesn't seem to alter anything.
In case you might find it useful, nodes are as follows:
Nodes that should always be unhidden: legs, chest, head, larm, rarm, rhand
Nodes dependent on player avatar: copHat, tank, pack, epauletsrankA, epauletsrankB, epauletsrankC, epauletsrankD, epaulets, shoulderpads, armor
Nodes that should always be hidden: rski, lski
Note that "rhand" colour should be dependent on the avatar's "rarm" colour. "legs" colour should be dependent on the avatar's "hip" colour.

This was a problem with the Battle Droid playertype, not Slayer.

Also, I believe that turning off team uniforms will fix the issue.
