Select speed of AI action execution

When playing 3- or 4-player games, the AI's execution of their actions is so fast (after they've "thought" through their options) that it is difficult to recognize all that's happened, especially if alien tech has been used. A choice in "settings" for slow, medium, or fast would be wonderful. I know the action log has the record of what happened, but it is awkward to scroll back through lots of actions and try to recreate what happened in one's mind. Many thanks!
