Game freezes

I cannot play the game anymore... the game freezes with AI at Admiral level. It starts normal but as the game progresses the AI takes longer and longer to play until it doesn't play without resetin the aplication... PLEASE RESOLVE THIS! Love the game!

I play in an iPad Air with iOS 7.0.4
