Defenser adventage.

If you simulate a equal battle, the defender gets some advantages. But I cannot find any reason to do so in the formulas in the wiki.

Any known reason for this?

I do not know the exact setup. Might be terrain penalties, anything really. I can not answer such general questions satisfactorily here, there are probably many issues still with the software since it is not actively maintained.
