Allow restart of a running exposure in a sequence.
I usually do long exposures (10min) and it sometimes happens that during an exposure something bad happens, like a wind gust or guiding getting out of control.
The only way (I know of) to recover in such a situation is to stop my sequence, turn off autofocus (to not loose too much time) and restart.
A much easier way would be to have a button in the Active sequence details (and perhaps other places that make sense) that resets the current running exposure and then restarts it.
Or another way, when a sequence is stoppen and started again within a few buttons a dialog pops up asking to resume the previous sequence.

reporter Just tried, does not work.
I push stop in ‘Active Sequence Details’ and when I hit start again plate solving starts again and likely lateron autofocus will follow.
-
repo owner Marcs tip won’t work on the simple sequencer, however on the advanced sequencer the sequence will pick up again where it left
-
reporter Ah, I see. So it looks like I finally have to switch to Advanced Sequencer….
Is this default behaviour in Advanced Sequencer or do I have to configure something special?
-
repo owner This is the default for the advanced sequencer. There you’ll have full visibility of individual items so it makes sense there to continue where you left - in contrast the simple sequencer will start on the startup instructions of the target again to make sure it is centered etc.

reporter For me it is OK to close this issue if you want.

reporter - changed status to resolved
Using Advances Sequencer solves the issue

If you use the Stop button to stop the sequence, and then the Play button to restart it, it should repeat the in-progress exposure. Have you tried that?
