Description

The description of OGMA cameras shows VID and PID. Please take a look at the attachments.

Steps to Reproduce

• Connect an OGMA camera to the USB port
• Open NINA
• Select Equipment > Camera > Click the drop-down to see the camera
• Select the OGMA camera
• Connect the camera

Expected behaviour

Show a more meaningful text instead of just the IDs.

Actual behavior

Before the camera is selected in the drop-down box, the model of the camera is listed with a portion of the PID.

After the camera is selected, the Description field shows a string that includes the vid and pid

Hi Juan - the Id portion in the dropdown is there so that a user can identify which camera to connect to when having more than one of the same kind. This is by design.

Which description would you rather want to see instead? The Product Id and Vendor Id are shown explicitly for a user to properly identify the hardware.

For the description, if it can be changed, please use something like “OgmaVision astronomy camera”
