Starlight Xpress ASCOM Issue

Hi

As requested in Stargazers Lounge, here is the log file.

The description was as posted there in that the pop up error read the following

'Unexpected error occured Property write ASCOM.SXMain0.Camera Readoutmode is not implimented in this driver'

Was attempting to creat and execute a sequence and also had same error when manualy triggering and exposure.

I have noticed that in the camera control pane, i have two drop down boxes under the main camera part at the top headed 'Readout Mode for SNAP' and 'Readout Mode for Sequence' but both of these boxes are blank when you go to the pull down.

Am using version 1.8 RC0006

Hi,

N.I.N.A. will access this property only when "CanFastReadout" will return false. According to the driver specification provided by ASCOM, that property must be implemented in this case (https://www.ascom-standards.org/Help/Platform/html/P_ASCOM_DeviceInterface_ICameraV2_ReadoutMode.htm)

On a first glance this looks like a wrong driver implementation on SX side.

Hi! which version of the SXCCD ASCOM driver are you using? I see on SGL that someone suggested that they're having no issue with 6.2.1.18212 of it; can you verify if you're running that or a newer version?
