EQMOD connection in 1.11NIGHTLY#046, and 049.

Issue #792 closed
Attila Horváth created an issue

Hi!
I'm using and testing version 1.11 nightly # 032, because i use the MGEN3 guider and the ASCOM dome control, which already working well.
I upgraded to # 046 and then to # 049, but I can't use these, because my EQ8-R Pro mount doesn't connect with EQMOD, although in # 032 it works great.

Thank you: Ati

    Hi,

please attach the log file to see why it doesn’t connect. The error description alone is too generic to understand the issue. EQMOD is used by a wide range of users and it should work fine.

    Hi Stefan!

Thanks for the reply. You are right, it should have included a log, now I will:

    Hallo Stefan!

I uninstalled all affected software (ASCOM, EQMOD, NINA) and then reinstalled it. Then I read the log. :-)
I modified the RA Guide rate in EQMOD. It used to be at an "external" value, now it has a specific value. It works like this.
Now I just don't understand why the stable version (1.10.HF2) didn't report an error and why Nightly?
No problem, now almost everything is OK.
    Thanks,
    Ati

OK, I just didn't use 1.10 sharply, because I found the important mgen 3 and dome features in the nightly version.
    Thank you, super work!
