Add logarithmic scale to histogram in statistics window

I have a proposal for the Statistics window in the Imaging tab:
Is it possible to add a logarithmic scale to the histogram?

The current linear scale is not very useful, as there is only a thin line at the left edge of the histogram for most AP images.
In a logarithmic view there would be more information visible.
