Rotator
[] Is the problem reproducible? Yes
[] Have all the requirements named in the manual been met? Yes
1.11 Nightly # 123
description
The angle of rotation changes when a new object is inserted.
Steps to reproduce
Get a new object in the frame window with the planetarium software or whatever. Then the rotation angle is set to 0 degrees
Expect behavior
This angle should be permanently fix adjustable. And for this session. That would be great, especially for users who have the camera permanently installed! I want to keep the manual rotator active for control purposes.

reporter Hello Stefan,
sorry yes exactly you are right let me try again.
The planetarium app import with the rotation is top and there is all right!
But.
-Open Sky Atlas in N.I.N.A search a target and then Set for framing assistant
-Framing always start with Rotation 0 degree.
-also you set a target in planetarium software (stellarium in my case) without framing the rotation is set with 0 degree
and this is repeated with each new goal.
Now the question:
it is possible to set a personalized value (for example 102 degrees). which always remains set
if you use the framing assistant with the planetarium software, the value can be overwritten again.
hope you can understand it better so.
thank you!

When choosing for example hips 2 fits sky survey and an image is loaded you can adjust the rotation. After loading then another target, this rotation is still there.
Importing from an external planetarium will overwrite the roatation when a rotation is sent by the planetarium. Having a default rotation would be a separate feature request (i think there is already an open issue for that) and would only make sense for a sub set of users that will not disassemble their equipment and also not rotate their camea. So everything is working as intended from my understanding, hence closing the bug.

Hi Michael,
the repro steps are a bit imprecise - does this only happen when importing coordinates from a planetarium software or also for other cases? On planetarium import, there will also be the rotation imported, as you can frame things in the external planetarium apps too.
