reporter unfortunately I don't have autofocus and I don't want to interrupt a sequence. If a message comes out that pauses the sequence to re-fire and then resume it would be good.
-
repo owner A behavior like this could be problematic.
What should happen in the downtime? For example The telescope could continue to track and if no sequence is running a flip is not done automatically.
Furthermore are you constantly monitoring the application to see if this event happened? If yes then there is not really a need to show this, as you could instead take a look at the HFR graph for example and then do a manual focus if the values are rising above your tolerance.
-
reporter Yes, I'm monitoring the sequence because I don't have a fixed location.
Do you propose to stop the sequence, do manual focus and restart the sequence from the beginning?
In this way I would have to retouch the number of missing shots or if it is more subjects or panels skip part of the sequence.
-
repo owner When you stop a sequence and start it again, it will pick up where you left it. It won’t reset your frame counters.
-
reporter i can stop the sequence and pick up where i left it ? how ?
-
repo owner It depends on which version you are on.
For 1.10 - there is a pause button that will pause the sequence after the current exposure and you can resume it afterwards.
In 1.11 the sequence will pick up where you left it when you stopped it. Pause is not required there.
-
reporter I have a nightly last version
-
reporter If to do the manual focus I have to aim at another star, when the sequence has to be resumed, how can I make the subject I was photographing re-point?
-
repo owner In the simple sequencer when you resume the sequence it will center it again.
In the advanced sequencer you need to reset the center instruction to recenter it again on start.

reporter - changed status to resolved

Please specify what you mean with manual focus.
There are already triggers that call an autofocus when the hfr worsens
