Three polar alignment plugin : Automatic mode launch problem

Issue #964 invalid
LELU created an issue

Hello,

Is the issue reproducible ? YES

Description :

Problem using the Three Polar Aligment plugin automatically.
All software was up to date and the mount was well connected to NINA with normal operation (sidereal tracking, pointing via software and operational remote).

I had to do the polar alignment manually. The message still appeared

"Telescope cannot move primary axis. This is required for the automated slews around the right ascension axis!"

So impossible to launch the automatic procedure.

Hardware and software used :

The Sky X pro 10.5.0 Build 13210

Paramount MyT

N.I.N.A. Nightly 1.11 #179

Three polar alignment 1.5.1.0

Thank you

Thomas

Hi, the telescope driver reports that it cannot use the "MoveAxis" command. Therefore the automated mode is not possible.

Yes indeed, but that shouldn't be a problem with a Paramount MyT mount….

Thank you in advance for your message

You will need to contact Software Bisque and ask them to implement the MoveAxis() method and associated ASCOM driver properties in their TSX ASCOM driver.
