Auto Refresh gets stuck, 9 out of 10 times

The auto refresh timer get stuck and the page gets stuck refreshing. This causes the refresh timer to stick at 60s and requires that you 'stop' page loading, then manually refresh the page again.
Chrome Browser, Seems to be caused by certain ad banners.

Might be related, and you may have fixed this issue, but it happens ONLY when an particular ad is displayed on my end. Nothing else breaks it but when any HR Block ad gets displayed it breaks the refresh.

I'll try and block the ad later.

This looks to have been an issue with the API calls actually. Caching had completely stopped working, causing loads to take to long and messing with the timers.
