Issue #95 closed

It can be a little disorienting for the UI to be changing on every refresh, so if you could create a beta.miningpoolhubstats.com and leave the normal miningpoolhubstats.com stable that would be great.

I already have a beta.miningpoolhubstats.com for development use, but agreed. I can slow down the rate at which updates occur and batch them daily.

    Alright thanks!

Also when an update occurs, you could have a modal popup that says exactly what changed. This is a bit more complicated but could be done by keeping a cookie with the version number and popping up the changelog if the version doesn't match, along with a notice "the site has been updated" or something.

I've been considering this, but I don't want to be too intrusive so I've been looking for less intrusive ideas

IMHO, the best way is to add a little icon in the top-right or a floating button in the bottom right that acts as a changelog/notification box. Just have a little red dot on there when there's an update, eventually people will click it and it will tell them exactly what changed.
