Yoshimoto Naohiro created an issue 2016-04-15

I think that is related to the known problems of the JDK-8087701, remaining without being removed is about 500KB temporary files when you use the FontawesomeFX, incremented each time you start.

Should I wait for the JDK is modified?

Really looks like a bug inside the JDK. I can see, 2 temp files per loaded font are created each time FontAwesome is used (about 500KB for all supported and loaded TTFs) and 1 temp file per font is remaining after the app using FontAwesomeFX quits. I am related to TeamFX and we will soon start working on JavaFX bugs. Will consider JDK-8087701 then!
