Flash to micro:bit tooltip stays visible

The tooltip that appears when mousing over the toolbar button for flashing the current script to the micro:bit stays open after clicking the button. I believe this has something to do with the "Flashing micro:bit" popup message window. The tooltip won't go away while the popup window is open. After closing the popup window, the tooltip will remain on screen unless the button is moused over again. When the mouse pointer moves away from the button after mousing over it the tooltip disappears.

I am using the Fedora 27 Linux distribution.
