Find Streams Outside Valley Bottom

This tool finds stream network segments which fall outside of then Valley Bottom polygon. You can then edit the valley bottom to correct this.

Input Parameters

Input Stream Network

The feature class you are cleaning. This should be a projected stream network.

Input Valley Bottom

The valley bottom polygon you have created and are editing.

Workspace:

The folder or geodatabase where you want the Output File to be created.

Scratch Workspace:

The folder or geodatabase where you want the working files to be created.

Output File:

The features which fall outside of the Valley Bottom polygon.

This dataset contains a field called "InVB" which contains either a "Yes" or a blank. Segments with blanks fall outside of the Valley Bottom and are selected in a final output file. Use these features to find areas which need to be edited in the Valley Bottom polygon.
