One thing that would be great is for it to be setVibrate, where if the passed argument is 0 seconds it terminates vibration, much like how it is with Joysticks. I had to edit GameActivity.java for this, but if it was native, that'd be better.

    That wouldn't play well with other platforms – for example on iOS, vibration is limited to ~0.5 second bursts and can't really be arbitrarily stopped.
