Unnable to recconect to server after entering atmosphere of planet "Trunkadis"

Myself (Jolly_reaper) and my friend (Bug_Irwin) were in a ship flying towards the planet. The second we get close all of our updates are really laggy. My friend tells me he sees the planet and then we are both disconnected. We are currently unable to reconnect, no matter how hard we try.
