Mac issues with Insurgence

So, I've read that a lot of people have had this problem, although mine is slightly different. People have been unable to open insurgence immediately after downloading. However, I've logged around 60 hours on the game, and just today it has done the same to me. I can open the game from the .exe, but it crashes frequently. I'm trying a clean install now, but I've also realized that this issue has never actually been resolved.

Suze, I know you and your team is working incredibly hard, and this is by far the best fanmade mmo I've ever played, and in the amount of time you have been able to put such a quality project together is nothing short of incredible.

I only ask for a response as to either, why, or when this type of issue will be realistically resolved?
