Interesting Egglocke glitch

If you take the only pokemon in your party(the starter in my case) and place it back, it won't let you pick it up again. Easy soft-reset, but suprised me nevertheless.

That's how Egglockes work. All caught/traded pokemon faint and are called Egg Token and must be traded for an egg.
