Running out of pokemon during a TV mission will crash the game

I found this out the hard way, I was playing the game just beat the first gym and saw Reshiram the pokegear buzzes and tells me to do a mission for the TV I go but forget to heal my pokemon and not only that the pokemon is level 30 8 levels higher than my top pokemon it takes me out and my game crashes making me loose all progress for the play session as there was no autosave after to gym! Very annoying and could easily happen to anyone.
