No Battle Icons in the Safari Zone

While I'm inside of the Safari Zone, whenever I'm in battle (most notably with Thundurus), there are no icons to signify stat boosts/drops, or status conditions such as Burn or Paralysis, yet it will continue to show symbols such as the Delta Symbol. The most annoying one is that it doesn't show to Pokeball symbol that signifies a Pokemon already being in your Pokedex. Don't know whether or not this was intended since usually there are no stat changes with Safari Pokemon, but the no telling if you've already caught the Pokemon is a bother.
