invalid filename during extraction

I have downloaded the core (and tried redownloading it several times to see if it would fix this issue), but when I try to open it with winzip I am told "the following invalid filename was encountered in the archive: "Pokemon Insurgence 1.1.7\Graphics\Tilesets\Thumbs.db:encryptable""

I tried opening and extracting it with 7-zip instead, but 7-zip automatically changes the ":" to an "_", which is a problem because the exact same filename already exists with an underscore instead of a colon. Thus, it asks me to overwrite the preexisting file with the same name it is trying to change the colon to in order to fix the fact that file names can't have colons.

What am I doing wrong?
