Roggan Town books unreadable

In two of the houses in Roggan Town, in the top right corner of the houses there are those cupboard-looking things with a book in them. It tells you "It's a book that reads: "The Cults of Darkrai", and asks if you want to read it. If you select "Yes", it acts as if you selected "No" and simply closes the dialogue without you getting to read it. Attached are images of the houses and where I tried to read the books.
