Cant advance into Abyssal Base

While I was playing i went in the Abyssal base and it was working fine. Then left the Base and to get items and level up. Trying to re enter i can not transform into a Abyssal Cultist there isn't a the option to turn into them its just gone so i cant advance though the game at all.
