Delta Scyther has no sound/cry

I just traded with the man "Hiker Trevor" in the house on Route 3, traded a Magnemite for his Delta Scyther "Cleaver" and it has no cry or sound associated with it. In other words, it is silent when it enters battle / viewing its Summary screen / talk to it when walking.
