Freezing upon playing of certain sounds

Certain sounds completely freeze up the game visually when they are attempted to be played. image is frozen and previous music is continued, intended sound doesn't play and game must be closed with task manager. freeze can be averted by manually deleting sound files but this detracts from game experience and is a pain to do every update. currently found affected files are: -Custom Mew cry -6th gen cries -sound that plays when eyes open in legendary awakening -sound that plays the moment a gym leaders pre-battle dialogue ends hopefully you can find the pattern and fix the issue with these and any others that are affected.
