Script error after Damian battle in Sylvan's lab

I was playing the game on the train home today and had about 3% battery left, along with very little free space on my Macbook (1 gb or so). After talking with Sylvan after the fight with Damian at the very beginning of the game (after picking starters), the game encountered a script error and had to restart. I closed my Macbook before it did so, and it restarted after I reopened it. However, since then, the game loads, but as I chose to save after the script error, the game is completely non-functional once I'm in my save file.

It's fine as I'm only half an hour in, but thought it might help fix something. Or not - low battery and low memory is a recipe for corruption at any time!
