Cursor defaulting to "switch" after switching

After switching Pokémon in battle, the cursor stays in the "Pokémon" position instead of resetting to "Fight".

Replicate steps: - Enter Battle - Move cursor to "Pokémon" - Switch in another 'mon - Cursor will still be on the "Pokémon" button - (Expected: Cursor should be on the "Fight" button)

Another part of this glitch is that the fight command is on the same slot as it was with the previous pokemon. So if you use an attack from the fourth move slot and switch pokemon, the fourth move will be selected instead of the first.
